Happy hall of fame game today to everyone! I can’t wait to watch this game later tonight only to turn it off by the first half because of how absolutely boring, fundamental, and awful some of these fringe players will be. But, I am excited to watch some football nonetheless. This off-season has been a little more filled with sports thanks to the men’s World Cup taking place and Lebron deciding to take his talents to the city of brotherly love.
This game marks the end of summer, but not quite the start of fall. School is going back into session soon, no more lake trips, barbecues, and endless warm days. Except for me, I live in San Diego so fuck all of you that have to deal with seasons, it’s always 70 and sunny for me.
This game is going to be absolutely terrible, I’m assuming it’s going to be a total of maybe 20 points and even then I doubt half of those are offensive scores. We know how Kenny Pickett is in the league and we’ve also seen Carson beck in college. This game is going to be incompletion after incompletion and check down after check down.
You wanna know the worst part? I’m still going to watch it. I am going to watch it because I am a slave to the NFL product and I can’t get enough of it. I watch spring football to pass the time because I am an absolute degenerate human being that loves watching grown men hit each other as hard as they can.
I hope that everyone is having a last hurrah for summer whether it be a big backyard barbecue or a trip to an amusement park with the kiddos. I hope everyone has a grand ole time, and I hope all the degenerates watching the hall of fame game with me tonight have an even better time.
